Is RM2200,a basic pay for a fresh graduate enough to support her life?Or is a paycheck of RM6000 is enough to support a family?Let's calculate it,together!
A person,with normal life,spends Rm 1125 for food,if she spends Rm 15 per meal and she has 75 meals per month.Then,she spends Rm 200 on shopping,Rm 100 for her utility bills,Rm 600 for her rent and car instalment,Rm 200 for entertainment,Rm 200 for insurance and Rm 100 for saving.And it add up to a total of Rm2525.And this is a rough calculation of the cost of living in the cities and way out of the limit of a basic salary.
As for a family,if it has 4 members,Rm3000 for food,if they spend Rm40 per meal.Then,Rm500 on shopping,Rm200 for utility bills,Rm1000 for house and car instalment,Rm250 for entertainment,Rm 800 for insurance,Rm400 for saving and Rm 500 for tuition fees and pocket money for the kids.It add up to an incredible Rm6650.And I suppose a salary of Rm 6000 is simply not enough to support a family.
So,tell me,is it enough to live a life?The economy is bad,cost of living keeps getting higher and higher,quality of life keeps dropping...How the hell are we going to live ?
Hope the goverment do something to it rather than just saying!

SI CHUAN'S EARTHQUAKE,SHOULD OR SHOULDN'T HAPPEN???
2 months after the quake,what can we see?What can we witness?What I'm going to write may seem cruel but that's the truth,undeniably.The reason why there had been 100,000 life sacrifice is man-made.The rubber building is the main fault.However,putting aside the life that had gone,I think the earthquake happened just in time.
Before the quake happened,the Chinese goverment was blamed for the chaos in Tibet.See what happened after the quake?No one blamed the Chinese anymore,at least for awhile.Chinese was given full sympathy and all eyes was on the quake's victim and the action taken by the Chinese goverment.The issue on Tibet was left back for sometime.That was one of the benefits of the quake.
The other benefit of the quake is the quake showed the world how strong the Chinese can be when they work as a team,so don't fool around with Chinese.The quake united the Chinese and the Chinese proved to the world that they are capable of bearing the heart-break and sadness and move on with life.
The quake showed the world the love the Chinese have for their family and for others.A mother left a text massage to her daughter saying"Don't forget I loved you" before she died.A husband carried her dead wife back to their home to give her an honourable funeral.A teacher protecting her students from the collasping building with her flesh.The unconditional love of the Chinese touched thousands heart of the world.
The quake showed us the Chinese are willing to sacrifice for the others. Soilders,walked into the quake area on their bare foot,despite of the after-quake and they might loss their life for doing so,just to safe life.A soilder tired to death while trying to help the quake's victim to rebuild their h A soilder leaving behind his own wedding ceremony and fianceeome.A volunteer feeding her own milk to the hungry and crying babies.It's all out of love.
It also showed us the strong will of surviving of the victim.In spite of being under the collapsed building,they survived.Their willpower keep them alive until helps arrive.They survived even it had passed the "Golden Hour" of rescueing the victim.Surviver dug out of the rubber after 90 hours,even five days since the quake.
The quake showed us the capability and ability of the Chinese goverment respond to emergency.The fast respond of the goverment amaze the public and much more life were safed.The rate of sacrifice decreased by a little for the efford done.
The quake changed the image of the Chinese goverment.The goverment often post a cool and arrogant image but the quake shown that they are human too.Wen JiaBao,the Primier of the State Council of China,impose the warmth and soft side of the goverment.He helped and cried for the quake's victim,without considering his image.He comforted the victim and mourned for them.His tears touched the world and got himself into the Facebook.

A NERVE-RACKING DAY
8 JULY 2008,a rainy and cold day.
TODAY IS MY DRIVING TEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL!!!!!!!!! HELP ME PLEASE ,LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I reached the driving test track early and got myself a bath with rain.The one who resit the test gets the honour to go first.
A fter I registered,I was sent to the part two division,which start with the slope.I waited and waited...
Finally,it's my turn,but it's not the car with my lucky number, 23 ,on it, The 23 car is the next car.(cry!!!)No 23 for me after all.Have to go with what I have.
I got in the car,checked everything,was ready to go.I accelerated,released the clucth and nothing happened.Then,I figured that out.I had to released all the clucth,not half way because the clucth was too high.OK,once again.HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!! I went up the hill,with the worry of exceeding the yellow line.HEW,NO SWEAT,BUT THE LEG WAS SHAKING!!! I passed the slope test.YU-HU!!!
Next on the card was the side parking and three-point turn test.This was really no sweat because the one incharged was not looking at you.I found out that as long as you didn't hit anything and they didn't hear a "cring" sound,then ,you're safed.
After I had passed all the three required task,I had to wait for my turn for the "on the road" test.I saw a little scenario where a girl she went on the road with a women officer and when she got back,the officer was driving.Then,I prayed for a man officer.
I got lucky because my officer is a man,an easy-going man.When I first got into the car,I supposed to check everything like seatbelt,mirrors,etc... but he said no need and asked me to put on the seatbelt and drive.
He praised me when I was able to go on the road steadily.Yet,bad things do happen.As I was going out of the track,a lady who was not afraid of dying,blocked my way.I stopped immediately.Sir,who sit next to me,he got shocked and scolded the lady and asked me to give her a horn.I didn't and he did it for me.
Then,I was asked to take route 1,it all went smooth,until where I supposed to turn.I turned to the wrong side and he stopped me immediately and asked me to reverse the ar and turn to the right side.
It's smooth again until a motorist suddenly went in front of me.I stopped again and sir scolded the man ,again.
Then,we came to a corner.I almost ran into the bushes ,luckily,I managed to turn my steering.We were safed.I's safed.
A motorist ame out of no where and bloked my way ,again.D@MN!!!It's the third time these things happened to me.
On the way back to the track,since it's a very old track,the line on the road is blur, I accidentally went to the opposite lane.The officer told me not to do so,yet ,I did it again.
HOWEVER.....I passed my test with 18 points.Not bad .Recalling what had happened,I would called myself lucky.
P.S:I felt sick after the test.After rain-bathing and being blew by cold wind,I passed my driving test and got fever,at last.Maybe I used up my luck during the test after all.

THE MUSICAL OF LIFETIME
28th of June,a historical day for SMK St Mary and a unforgetable night for me.

Tonight,the musical that I had waited for have come."Phantom of The Opera" is it title and obviously,it is one of the BIG project of the year for St Mary.It took half a year to prepare and this year,pro was invited to help and tutor.Musical starts at 8pm and as usual,I got there earlier than others and met some frenz,etc ,etc ,etc ...
I had waited in the hall for 30 min with a HUGE HUGE crowd before it started.
On 8.05pm,finally,it starts,with the dance of the ballerinas...........
Plenty of the audiene is crazy of the cute Raoul,yet what really caught my eyeball is the CUTE and ADORABLE WEIJEAN acted in this play and she is CHRISTINE DAAE.When I saw her,she took my heart away.She looks nice in the costume.However,what really "KILLED" me is her powerful and ear catching vocal.My eye,ear and mind was all over her after she sang the first song,"Think of Me".She killed me softly with all her songs.I LOVE HER!!!If I know she is Christine,I will go for all three days of the play.I regret now.

The background of the play was real and stunning.It is drawn by a doctor with a talent in drawing.The cast is nice.The band is just way too cool wiyh the mask.The songs are sentimental. It is PERFECT ,yet,I should know from the beginning,nothing is perfect,and it is true.There's always something that spoiled the night and this time is the P.A System.The play was a little effeted when the mic goes on and off.
The crowd gone crazy wwhenever the leading actress had physical contact.I gone wild when I saw them kissed, a kiss that looked too real.
It's quite amazing what a bunch of students can do with limited time,space and expenses.The professsionalism of the actresses was superb.
The night end with applause.The crowd scream and shout when the cast was introduced.I got shocked when I saw an auntie screamed along with us.
Tonight,it's sure a memorable night with unforgetable and sweet memories.
P.S: Some said good things come in two and I believe it's true.My night went from nice to spectacular when I saw someone I miss very much,HENG SZE TENG.It sure made the icing on the cake.
